The vine on The Inn at Kippen logo has a story behind it: in 1891 Kippen resident Duncan Buchanan planted a vineyard in his greenhouse. One of his vines grew so much that it claimed the title of the world’s largest vine, producing an annual crop of over 2000 bunches of table grapes and setting a record in 1958 by producing 2956 bunches. The Kippen Vine no longer exists but its memory lives on at The Inn at Kippen...

The Inn at Kippen Today….

The Inn at Kippen was reopened in early December 2012 after a major refurbishment of all the public areas and is now family owned and operated.

The upstairs of the building including all the bedrooms, are also having a complete face lift and will be open for overnight stays from April onwards.

We do hope you will come along and see us whether its for a coffee or a weekend stay, we will offer you a traditional Scottish welcome and some of the finest foods within the area.
